The Manhattan Country School (MCS) Bike Bus started in the spring of 2023 and now rides on a monthly basis (weather permitting). The objective is to empower families, kids, and youth to choose fast, affordable, sustainable, active modes of transportation by providing a safe, less intimidating, and more fun environment! The MCS Bike Bus places equity at the heart of its mission and aims to bring light to unequal access to public space, and ultimately to help children reclaim the fair share of public space they deserve! 

The MCS Bike Bus leaves every first Wednesday of the month at 7:45AM sharp from Mount Morris Park West at 120th Street in Central Harlem, going through Central Park to Manhattan Country School located on West 85th Street in the Upper West Side. Participants can hop on the bike bus anywhere on our route.
